Once upon a time, I wrote my own advice column. It started because people kept sending me questions, unprovoked, about their lives and I figured I might as well post them along with my answers. But then people sent more and more questions and I got annoyed because everyone's questions were the same and I no longer wanted to answer them...

Then, Eleanor Roosevelt stepped in. She started as a substitute for me while I was in Prague last summer, but she gave such great and funny advice that I offered her a full time position and she accepted. She is a kindly, motherly alligator with a toothy grin and she is just itching to take you under her wing. So it is she, not i, who will be answering your questions and posting them.
