media preferences!

here are some movies i like:
happiness, welcome to the dollhouse, ghost world, interview with the vampire, the opposite of sex, american psycho, batman, batman returns, the royal tenenbaums, eyes wide shut, requiem for a dream, being john malkovich, donnie darko, human nature, romy and michele's highschool reunion, mulholland drive, pecker, orgasmo, pearl harbor. just kidding about pearl harbor.

some authors i like:
margaret atwood, milan kundera, kurt vonnegut, douglas coupland, david foster wallace, vladmir nabokov, salman rushdie, jd salinger, ee cummings, franz kafka, flannery o'connor, saul bellow, sylvia plath, leo tolstoy, joyce carol oates. anne rice, too. i hate ayn rand because she overuses the word "astonished."

some music i like:
nirvana, radiohead, morphine, pj harvey, franz ferdinand, madonna, poe, portishead, tricky, soundgarden, depeche mode, duran duran, new order, pearl jam, fiona apple, snoop dogg, cher, prince, scissor sisters, hole, big star, wham!, the zombies, live, nine inch nails, eurythmics, erasure.

i also like opera and classical, but telling you specifics here will probably not do much for your purpose, which is to judge me. unless, of course, you like it too--then you can email me and ask if you want.

some music i hate:
creed, van halen, aerosmith, linkin park, led zeppelin, and RUSH. i hate rush so much. rush is my least favorite band. sometimes when i get in vile moods, i listen to rush and read republican websites to rile myself up!
